English sterling silver sugar shaker/muffineer, made by Harrods of London, dated 1933. The London hallmark also has the optional sovereign/jubilee mark which was used by assay offices for 1933/4 & 1934/5 to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of George V & Queen Mary; the mark actually contains profiles of both.


Hallmarked on the body & the rim of the pull-off lid. The maker’s mark of RWB was Richard Woodman Burbridge, who was chairman of Harrods. The Harrods name is fully marked on the underside.
