Stunning and Decorative, Large Oval Sterling Silver Antique French Centerpiece
A large oval footed, beautifully hand chased centerpiece bowl made by the French Parisian silversmith Emile Delaire, circa 1890s. The centerpiece measures 21.50″ wide x 15.25″ deep x 9.25″
high. The oval-shaped centerpiece standing on four cast feet with female masque, has a totally hand chased & decorated body, and a blank cartouche on one side. The top rim with applied floral decoration. The maker is known for making vases, bowls & dishes of this design, but the size of this is exceptional.
